A local organization is reaching out those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, and their families, with a mostly virtual event.
The Alzheimer’s Disease Association of Kern County is launching its Caring for the Caregiver event today.
This event began this morning on ADAKC’s Facebook page and runs through Saturday providing various webinars and discussions providing support to caretakers.
It will conclude Saturday at 9am with an in-person walk through the memory garden to connect caretakers and family members with more resources.
That’s happening at ADAKC’s Rose Lazzerini Campus on Buena Vista Road.
