This November, the Alzheimer’s Disease Association of Kern County is hosting its Homecoming Gala on November 21, celebrating community and raising funds for local families affected by dementia.
Dementia is a group of brain symptoms that affect memory, thinking, mood, and movement, with Alzheimer’s being the most common cause.
ADAKC provides Kern’s only licensed adult day program focused on social, cognitive, and caregiver support, helping families care for their loved ones while offering meaningful activities.
Gala proceeds directly support these programs, ensuring families have access to vital services.
